After 12 years of neglect by the previous Liberal Government and an unfair wages cap, our police force was in a crisis and suffered critical staffing shortages.

My Government was elected to fix this. Already we have: 

• 60 newly graduated police officers in our area.
• Delivered the NSW Police Force the biggest wage increase in 30 years. 
• Paid student police officers while they study at Goulburn Police Academy. 

We are also giving our police the tools they need to do their jobs, including stronger wanding laws to deter knife crime, increased funding to stop cyber crime, and increased training for our first responders.

There is a lot more to do, but already we are starting to see results. In August, we had the largest graduating class from the Goulburn Academy in over a decade.
