Fixing Kempt Field

The $11.8 million remediation project is addressing long-standing subsidence issues that arose from uncontrolled waste buried beneath the public reserve that was previously a privately owned waste landfill site.

The remediation is almost complete, and to expedite this, work is taking place six days a week. 25% of the site has been turfed, with final landscaping on track to commence in May.

Kempt Field is expected to be completed in June of this year.

We are looking forward to returning the park to the community in the near future.
