Major Upgrade to Kogarah Public School

Before the election, I committed to rebuilding public education so our state can deliver a world-class education and the best possible start in life for all kids across NSW.

Delivering on our commitment to you, construction is now underway to upgrade Kogarah Public School

The majority of in-ground works for the new buildings are now complete. The main communication room was upgraded to receive new equipment for the new buildings. The tower crane has also been erected.

The upgraded Kogarah Public School will deliver improved facilities for students and support our growing community.

The upgrade to Kogarah Public School will include:

  • The first new multipurpose hall in 155 years
  • 24 new modern air-conditioned classrooms
  • Removal of all demountable classrooms on site
  • New play areas and outdoor learning spaces

The upgrades will more than double the permanent capacity at this school.

This project is long overdue, and I am really excited for the teachers, parents and students who will finally be able to experience world-class facilities in our local area, when they are open, day one, term one, 2027.
