Kogarah Public School Underway
I have officially announced the start of the much-needed upgrade to Kogarah Public School, fulfilling my election commitment to you.
12 years of the previous Liberal Government saw a neglect of the education system in NSW, with the state of our public schools being run down and unfit for purpose for the 21st century.
I am committed to ensuring that much-needed investment is directed towards our children so that they receive the quality education they deserve in a supportive and modern environment.
That is why I am prioritising the upgrades of public schools as part of my plan to rebuild public education, with a record $8.9 billion for new and upgraded schools across NSW.
The new Kogarah Public School will deliver improved facilities for students and support our growing community.
The upgrade to Kogarah Public School will include:
- New multipurpose hall
- New permanent classrooms
- Removal of all demountable buildings
Planning for the upgrade is progressing with the established of the newly formed Project Reference Group which comprises of the school community and the P&C.
If you would like more information about the upgrades to Kogarah Public School, or any other State Government matter, please contact me at my office on 9587 9483 or emailĀ [email protected]
Yours sincerely,
Chris Minns MP
Premier of New South Wales
