Stage one of the re-opening of Kempt Field has officially started with remediation works now underway.

In the last four years of the previous Liberal Government the land at Kempt Field sunk and had contamination issues leading to its closure.

The former Liberal Government refused to fix it, claiming it wasn’t even their responsibility.

Kempt Field is a valuable piece of open space for local residents and I know we cannot afford to lose this beautiful park.

That is why I was determined to fix the park’s longstanding issues and return it to our local community.

Kempt Field will be closed to residents from late September for the duration of the works, which are expected to take around 15 months.

If you would like more information on this, or any other State Government matter, please contact me at my office on 02 9587 9684 or email [email protected]

Yours sincerely,

Chris Minns MP
